yoshiki of X-Japan X - Japan : [heavy metal/ballad]

X-Japan is like the best Japanese band that ever lived (imo). Their music is incredibly emotional and their songs are classic. I especially love their ballads, because the melodies are just so beautiful and among the best I've heard.. I'm not exaggerating! The group was formed way back in the early 80's, but split up in 1997 to pursue their solo careers. They planned a reunion, but unfortunately the guitarist, hide, committed suicide.

Fav songs (there are too many):

  • Forever Love - probably their most famous song
  • Say Anything - my favourite song from them, it's so pretty!
  • Tears - Hmm..or maybe..this is my favourite song..
  • Longing - nice melody
  • Crucify My Love - slow ballad..the piano part is lovely and their lyrics are not bad either..It's all in English.
  • Silent Jealousy - medium fast pace, energetic, i like it.
  • X - fast, furious.. It was the opening for the anime called "X"; this song is awesome!!
